Client: SANITISER SENTINEL
Problem: PIR (Passive Infra Red) technology is extensively used to detect people and movement, however they are prone to unwanted activations due to their inherent wide ranging detection zones.
Process: Research electronic and mechanical concepts. Design mechanical solution, prototype, and refine. 3D print final solution for field testing.
Result: Tool and mass produce first variant. A simple low cost solution for PIR zone selection. Patent Pending GB2100137.5. Now available for third party licensing.
Client: SANITISER SENTINEL (start up)
Problem: Electronics, software and industrial design for a novel solution for encouragement of hand sanitisation.
Process: Research human behaviour around hand sanitiser dispenser installations. Construct prototype to include infra red detection of passing people, automatic hardware and software control for 20 spoken language announcements along with visual light reinforcement.
Result: Final design now in production. Launch date late 2020. More information at www.sanitisersentinel.com
Client: DUKU / Urban Electric
Problem: Design electronics and software control for an unobtrusive Electric Vehicle charger for on street public use.
Process: Research latest Electric Vehicle technologies and charging methodologies. Construct prototype to include control hardware and software,
data logging, various safety control checks, and integrate fully compatible EV charging system.
Result: Final design enabled an automated retractable bollard to be stored under pavement when not in use, and was remotely accessed by authorised users.
To date (December 2019) 7 units are completing early on street trials.
Client: Rubbermaid Commercial Products USA (Mkt Cap $10Bn )
Problem: Green, alternative energy solution required for Fragrance Sprayer.
Process: Feasibility study, proof of concept, early and final prototypes.
Result: New product range launched October 2015.

Problem: Remove RSI problems when manually installing fibre services.
Process: Feasibility study, proof of concept, early prototype.
Result: Prototype in field test ( June 2015 ).
Client: E-Group Holland
Problem: Create alternative energy powered radio for shower use.
Process: Feasibility study, proof of concept, early and final
prototypes, oversee final production and marketing.
Result: Worlds first shower powered radio launched in 2011.

Client: Confidential – UK
Problem: Prove that granted patent for Gas purging system is manufacturable.
Process: Feasibility study, including material sourcing, building proof of concept
including firmware coding. Fully test and demonstrate.
Result: Proof of concept board with all functions working per the patent
including pneumatics, micro controller and 433 Mhz remote control system.
